In my essay for my application to Bar Ilan, I wrote that I am the fourth generation of my family to be born in Chicago. Since I wrote it in Hebrew, I wrote "Ani hador harevi'i shel hamishpachah sheli..." While I do not know that that is necessarily grammatically correct, writing the words "Hador HaRevi'i" made the posuk "V'dor revi'i yashuvu heinah" pop into my head. I realized, "Hey- I'm the fourth generation, and I'm returning to Israel. That's sort of cool."

Now for the interesting part. The next day, I went to Rabbi Frand's Thursday night shiur (which is telecast to Rabbi Eichenstein's shul on Devon. At 8:00). I came a couple minutes into the shiur, and the first words I heard were "the fourth generation." The entire shiur was related to children and granchildren, and the first half hour was about "the fourth generation." Not only that posuk- there are other sources in the Torah that talk about the fourth generation. I won't repeat the entire shiur (which I couldn't anyways), but you get the idea.

What are the chances of that, eh? I can't remember when I last time heard that posuk, let alone an entire shiur on it. I feel like G-d is paying special attention to me (which He is).
