I can't dispute the facts that it presents, because it does not provide links to the the relevant documents which it documents, aside from one, which is shown in text too small too read, and is in Arabic.
He managed to purchase a piece of land with an area of 400 dunums (40 hectares), south of Bethlehem city along the Hebron road and in one of the most fertile lands in the district.Fertile, eh? Looking at the satellite photograph they provide, you can see farms in other areas of the map, but not on the land outlined as Nassar's property. Israelis are always confiscating "the most fertile" bits of land, or doesn't it seem that way?
He registered the land in 1924 and since then is paying its taxes.Who did he register the land with? Not Israel, which didn't exist. Israel was attacked in 1967, and in the process of defending itself, drove the Jordanians out of the terrirories. If they want to declare state land, that is legal, having won the land militarily.(again, I have no idea of the particulars of the case, because I do not read Arabic in font size 4)
The location of Nassar’s land as well as Nahhalin village is located in the so-called Gush Etzion colonial block and is surrounded by four colonies; five hundred meters to the north lies Neve Daniel colony, equidistance to the south is Eliazar, to the west is the Ultra Orthodox colony of Betar Illit and to the east is the rapidly-expanding colony of Efrat. This placement is impossible. See their own map. In fact, the other map on that page shows the land to be west of Nevei Daniel. Of course, all Arab land in the territories is "surrounded by Jewish colonies"- just as all Jewish towns in the territories are surrounded by Arab villages. Hmmm. (All American cities are surrounded by farming towns. Damn farmers.)
This block is basically supported by religious Jews who consider the block to be a part of “Metropolitan Jerusalem plan”.Actually, it is only Arabs who consider it to be part of a “Metropolitan Jerusalem plan." Apparently they cannot understand why there are so many settlements near Jerusalem, and have caught on to the settlers' clever plan to divide the terrirories into two parts down the middle. This will make a Palestinian state impossible. (LOGICAL INCONSISTENCY ALERT: Is the state of Israel "in" on the Zionist conspiracy to steal the Palestinian Homeland, or are the settlers working against the state? Make up your minds, people!)(LOGICAL INCONSISTENCY ALERT 2: The terrirories already consist of two separate parts- the "West Bank" of Jordan and Gaza(which Egypt would not take back along with the Sinai.))
In addition, vandalism on the land, trees, equipment and buildings as well as personal physical attacks has been recorded.A freudian slip? The vandalism and attacks were "recorded." I'll bet they never occured.
(See land registry documents)Where? Would you like to show them to us? Hmmm?
I'm inclined not to believe that Israel confiscated land for Nevei Daniel without proper compensation. In a settlement a few miles south of there, Alon Shevut, there is a sizable patch of land in the middle of the town which is untouched, because of an ownership dispute concerning its purchase from the former Arab owner("Huh? Why didn't they just confiscate it?"). I'm sick of these lies. Sick, sick, sick. Stay tuned for more lies.
UPDATE: The site now provides the documents.(and a larger font of Arabic) According to the complaint rejection document(page 1,2) the recorded boundaries of Nassar's land do not correspond to a physical map of the area. Additionally, he failed to prove that he had ever used the "fertile farmland" as anything more than pastureland(which does not indicate ownership, as it is not unusual to use ownerless land for pasture).
