Untied Airlines
The aforementioned aviation organization realized at 1:00 this morning that my 6:35 flight to Newark has no crew. Oops. Thanks to the art of Sounding Really Ticked Off (which was not really all that difficult) and Calling Many Phone Numbers, I am somehow on an 8:50 flight, which I was at first told was overbooked. I hope that whichever pawn in United's game of chess (or is it Jenga? Hmmm....) got bumped didn't need to get to Newark before Shabbos.
